This tool optimizes your RAM in adjustable, systematic periods and removes from RAM already closed programs which still occupy memory, thus making more free memory available to your system. TweakRAM's main feature is memory defragmentation (it solves the problem of scattered program's code, so that your CPU does not have to waste time on code lookup). Many programs, including Windows, accumulate huge amount of libraries, but not all of them are necessary. TweakRAM finds such blocks and unloads them to swap. When some of this data becomes necessary it is loaded back to RAM again. Sometimes it happens that when program exits not the whole memory it allocated is released. Thus the program is not running any more, but some memory can't be used by other programs. TweakRAM finds such memory leaks and flushes them to swap file, thus increasing size of free RAM.
Features: TweakRAM will defrag system memory for faster access time. It recovers memory leaks from poorly behaved applications, unloading of unnecessary libraries out to disk and so on. Many programs load libraries in memory and some of them are not used regularly. Program finds such modules and unloads them to a swap file. When some of unloaded libraries become necessary, it is loaded back again in RAM. All applications allocate certain amount of memory. But after quitting the program some program still occupies space. Program removes such memory leaks, thus increasing size of free RAM.
The program works in two modes as manual and automatic depending on your choice, by default it will work in automatic mode. To make free MEMORY, the program operates in Auto Free mode, in which program automatically balances speed and memory. You can see memory information and statistics on screen for Memory usage, free Memory, CPU usage and Swap file usage. Configuration setting allows you to perform setting for your program, memory and miscellaneous settings. Program setting allows you to set startup option, program options. Memory settings allows you to set automatic freeing option and other memory options such as beep after sometime, clear clipboard after freeing etc. With miscellaneous setting you can perform Tray settings, other setting and sensor setting.
